Six Windows Shortcuts That Will Save your Job

iStock_000001193366XSmallYes people are getting fired all the time for messing around on the internet when they should be working. However, I like everyone else is I’m guilty as hell of looking at cat videos, updating my Facebook status, tweeting and many other inappropriate things that I dare not speak of. So I’ve decided to help my fellow sneaky slackers  and nasty time killers with some job saving shortcuts that  can quickly deploy to avoid termination.

 

1) Alt + Tab

Alt plus tab allows you to quickly minimize a window. Now you have to be careful with this one because you have to use some strategy for this. Always have a work document in Microsoft Word open. So if you surfing the net , you can press Alt +Tab and the web browser will minimize and reveal the work document.

2) CTRL + Shift + Delete

This is a life saver because it will allow you to quickly erase your internet history in any browser   that you choose. If you don’t believe that this is important you’re a fool. You should also consider using private browsing feature in your browser to make sure that you aren’t leaving and web tracks

3)  Alt + F4

This will immediately shut down any program that is currently open and active on Windows.  This is for you old people playing solitaire at work All the awesome games out there and you people still play solitaire. Seriously, this will shut down any open program.

4) Ctrl + 1-9

Sometimes closing your web browser is an obvious way admit you are looking at your Exes Facebook photos. So you can press the Ctrl key and any number to cycle through tabs

5) Ctrl + Z

This is will undo anything you written or deleted while type. The more you press it, the more it will undo. So if you actually erase a 500 word work email by accidently hitting the wrong keys. Press Ctrl +Z

6) Windows Logo + L

This will lock your computer quickly. So, if you need to get up and use the bathroom. No one will be able to log on and see your secret stash of NSFW pics.
